WDKA
The Willem de Kooning Academy (‘Art, Media, Design & Leisure Management’), or ‘WdKA’ for short, we collaborate with them in student projects, lecturers and workshops. The range of courses covers a broad scope of careers in the ‘culture creation industry’: artists, designers, producers & performers, teachers, organisers and researchers.

HENK is voor het Image Festival onmisbaar als partner in de culturele sector. Achter HENK schuilen Robin Duinker en Soraya Putman. Deze jonge cultuurwetenschappers ontwikkelden tijdens hun studie een helikopterview op de sectoren beeldende kunst, letteren, film, cultureel erfgoed, podiumkunsten en cultuureducatie. HENK komt voort uit liefde voor de stad en een behoefte aan een positieve benadering van de ‘culturele kaalslag’. Zij zijn een betrouwbare spil in het Rotterdamse culturele leven en zien het als hun taak de sector als geheel naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

V2_ is an interdisciplinary center for art and media technology in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). V2_’s activities include organizing presentations, exhibitions and workshops, research and development of artworks in its own media lab, publishing in the field of art and media technology, and developing an online archive.

WORM
Worm organizes concerts, film screenings, workshops, master classes, festivals, exchanges and other events. Besides all this, Worm has a film workshop, a sound studio, a shop and an ultra fast digital platform (WORM.station). Worm stimulatse and supports several productions and products such as Dutch programmes on Dutch festivals and abroad plus a variety of media publications.

The Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam has been encouraging the art climate in Rotterdam for a quarter of a century. The origins thereof lie in an inspired mission statement: in assignment of the local government the CBK has taken on the task of strengthening the position of visual arts in Rotterdam as well as the visual artist of Rotterdam by creating most favourable conditions for the production, presentation and sale of visual art in all sectors of society.
