We invited the Swiss graphic designer Michel Casarramona to show his posters and as one of the guest speakers Casaramona is known for his fantastic use of caricature, custom typography and color in his silkscreen posters / artwork he does for music clubs and bands.
Michel Casarramona is a Swiss graphic designer who grew up in Unterkulm.After graduating from the Zürich art school and working at different studios, he started working as a self-employed graphic designer and illustrator. All of his illustrations are handdrawn with pencil and/or brush. Casarramona’s influences are the art and graphic design of the last century, which explains the retro-inspired look and feel of his work. He makes fantastic use of caricature, custom typography and colour. Casarramona works on commission for The New Yorker, Blue Q and Albin snowboards. He has designed posters for several bands, music clubs and also does movie posters.
