Baschz and Selfcontrolfreak will be working in and from CBK Rotterdam on a new crowdsourcing project, a short time running follow-up to their famous Masterpiece 2.0. And you can take part in it again too!
On Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th, from 14h ’til 16h, everybody is invited to CBK Rotterdam, Nieuwe Binnenweg 75 to come by and donate a personal object which will be used by the artists and becomes a permanent part of their new work.
You can follow them at work in their improvised studio from Thursday the 28th ’til Saturday the 30th from 12h to 17h. The final result will be presented on Sunday October 31st, at 13h in CBK Rotterdam.
Baschz and Selfcontrolfreak (Olivier Otten) have both been active the art and digital scene for quite some time. They’ve worked together before as part of the Rotterdam based artists and deejay collective Tictoc and several other projects.
Selfcontrolfreak (Olivier Otten)
Olivier Otten is an independent multimedia designer who’s also active within the Holland-Interactive collective. He was co-founder of multimedia studio Toxit, which he worked with for ten years. He is VJ for Major League teaches at Willem de Kooning Art Academy in Rotterdam.

Baschz Leeft
Apart from his personal art Baschz is known as one of the founders and curators of cultural breeding ground and exhibition space SingerSweatShop in Rotterdam, and MAÑANA ArtsBeatsGoodlife, an art-meets-party collaboration with Julstar. He founded the interdisciplinary intervention force Betamaxxx with Crackrock, and amongst others he exhibited and curated for Mu, UrbanArtInfo (Berlin), Artcore (Paris), Tent, Mama, Arti et Amitie, Westergasfabriek, ABC Architectuurcentrum, Villa Nuts, Art Kitchen and Mañana Arts Gallery.
