A group of 40 students started the 9th of September with their assignment to come up with a guerrilla advertising campaign for the Image Festival.
The image and artwork is based on the words derived from the abbreviation I.M.G. They are free to make a 2D or 3D work or an animation but have to keep in mind that the work has to be realised in the coming month. There is a festival pass to win for the one who can present the best idea. They all have to present a black and white logo for poster print or a bumper animation. And a work that can be used in a guerrilla advertising campaign in public space for the Image Festival. The two works have to be coherent. The same image has to be used for the logo and for the guerrilla campaign in public space.
Creative director of the Image Festival, Theo Seesing, design agency Enchilada and professor Marc Terstroet will eventually choose the best designs. These will be used on the locations of the Image Festival. All logo’s will be printed and shown at the festival. Animations will be used as bumpers in between screenings and an outdoor screen.
